VIVAnews - Mario Alisjahbana menegaskan bahwa Jesudass Sebastian, warga negara Australia, tidak pernah meminjamkan uang sepeserpun kepada dirinya.

Menurut Mario, Akta Pengakuan Utang sebesar Aus$2,85 juta bukan karena ia sedang membutuhkan uang. "Justru sebaliknya," tegas Mario dalam keterangannya yang diterima VIVAnews.com, Rabu 1 Juni 2011.

Dia menjelaskan, PT Pustaka Widya Utama, perusahaan milik Jesudass, memiliki utang dagang sebesar Rp7,45 miliar kepada PT Dian Rakyat, perusahaan yang dipimpin oleh Mario.

Jesudass kemudian menjual perusahaan miliknya itu kepada Mario dengan harga Aus$2,85 juta. Mekanisme pembayarannya, kata Mario, dengan membuat Akta Pengakuan Utang sebesar Aus$2,85 juta yang akan dicicil selama 10 kali selama 10 tahun, dengan jaminan saham-saham yang dibeli tersebut.

Mario menjelaskan, cicilan pertama dan cicilan kedua berjalan lancar. Pada tahun ketiga, yaitu tahun 2008, pemerintah meluncurkan program Buku Sekolah Elektronik yang mengakibatkan banyak perusahaan penerbitan buku sekolah mengalami kerugian yang dahsyat, termasuk PT Pustaka Widya Utama, perusahaan yang sahamnya dibeli oleh Mario.

Akibatnya Mario kesulitan membayar cicilan yang ketiga. Atas dasar itu, jelas Mario, Jesudass melelang sisa saham yang dijaminkan kepadanya, sebanyak 1975 lembar. “Anak buah Jesudass yang bernama Suroto, disuruhnya ikut dalam lelang dan memenangkannya,” kata Mario.

Namun, dia melanjutkan, Suroto kemudian disuruh  tidak membayar saham yang telah dimenangkannya tersebut.

Mario menegaskan, dirinya dan Sri Artaria,  tidak pernah mengalihkan saham tersebut kepada pihak ketiga (PT Dian Rakyat), walaupun memiliki hak menjual 500 saham yang telah bebas dari gadai karena telah dicicil melalui cicilan pertama dan kedua (pasal 2 Akta Pengakuan Utang).

Selain itu, proses penyidikan selama satu tahun yang telah melibatkan 21 saksi dan 6 kali gelar perkara tidak menemukan bukti bahwa Mario menjual saham-saham tersebut kepada pihak ketiga.

Jessudas adalah warga negara Australia yang perkaranya dimenangkan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan. Majelis hakim menyatakan polisi dan jaksa harus melanjutkan perkara antara Jessudas dan Mario.
