Is it true that Humans Add Young Every 7 years?

VIVAnews -in the community during this circulated myth that every seven years (or 10 years) depending on the version of the story you hear, we become human beings. The reason, in the period, all the cells in the body has been replaced with new cells.

From research, it is true that each cell in the human body has the age of each. However, if the myth is true?

In the book Science Desk Reference (Stonesong Press, 1995) mentioned, on the human body there are 50 to 75 trillion cells. each had his own and when the man in question is dead, the cell takes hours even days to die.

Forensic investigators frequently exploit the situation to determine the cause of death and time of death, for example a principal committed suicide.

As quoted from Life's Little Mysteries, April 6, 2011, red blood cells can live for 4 months, while the white blood cells on average live more than a year. The cell belonged to the colon died after 4 days, whereas sperm cells age only 3 days only.

Although in general the cells have a short, but brain cells generally live for human life. Neurons in the cerebral cortex, for example, was not replaced when they die.

From the facts above, the annual cycle of 7 such as the story is not true because cell berdar died and was replaced almost every day by the body. It is not clear from where the myth originated. Chances are, a who has good intentions but lacks enough information assume that all cells are updated after 7 years and then the man became a new man. (umi)
