An SEO friendly website is one which helps in proper indexation of the website and gets good search engine rankings with the chosen keywords. 1- Have a simple website for your business without any fancy things in it. If it is not necessary then do not use Flash, frames and iframes. You can have a image or two which would look professional but too many images would make the website much slower.
2- Use CSS for all the styling in your web pages because it helps to manage the unnecessary styling code in another file.
3- Each page of your site should be unique in itself. Give a proper title and description to all your pages which describes the web page properly.
4- If you are having a dynamic website then use url rewriting technique to convert the dynamic URL into static one.
5- Get a nice content for all your pages. Remember all content should be unique and original, duplicate content can harm you in future.
6- Make sure all your links are working else they will count as broken links and would damage the reputation of your site. If for any reason you have not managed to create a web page for a link then do not give a link to the anchor. I mean do not use a href tag until and unless you have a page to link to it.
7- Have a sitemap in your site which properly describes your site. You should have both the types of sitemap, namely sitemap. html and sitemap. xml. Add sitemap. html to your site and submit sitemap. xml to the search engines.
8- Do not use any unnecessary pop up windows in your site. These distracts the attention of the viewers and they quickly close the website.
