The next Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Camaro, which will replace the current models in 2014, was born on a whole new platform, the Alpha platform. This component, with rear-wheel drive architecture, will make its debut Cadillac ATS, a midsize sedan called to deal with BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class
The decision will lead to a significant reduction of development costs and production of large sport Cadillac and Chevrolet.
